Shoreham, 12:30 til 2pm ish. Highly entertaining session with Shoreham
producing the shingly goods. At least, mmm, waist high and bloody windy
and just me and basher out there. Actually, one or two of the set waves
were 'fairly substantial' well over wig level, peaking up way out the back
and warping off down the line. I'm feeling like Ive been stretched on a
rack from that initial overpowered downwind carve into each wave.

yeeeehaaaaa!!! Certainly some of the biggest Ive ridden there. Its just at
that state of tide when the outside swell gets a chance to start peaking
up. One of the best that I had was just as bill was taking a breather way
out the back, I gave a thumbs up to check that he was ok and at that moment
he was just dwarfed by the mother of all sets. He might have been calling
for help but I was on autopilot into the gybe and just disappeared down the
face of this massive thing. Rode it to the church.
Returned to the office with a tremendous feeling of well being today.
Didnt feel sorry for the ordinary people, but did wish they could share the
experience. Its an amazing sport.
